I have travelled to many places around the world. I have had some wonderful meals – fantastic curry dishes in India, amazing pasta in Italy, and great tapas in Spain. We stayed at the Aloe Ridge Hotel this weekend. This morning I woke up to the sound of automatic gun fire in the distance. And I knew that it meant another day of filming of the movie Seal Team 8! 😀 Can’t wait to see the movie!

My husband and I recently visited Cape Town for a long weekend. We visited these amazing places, all of which I recommend highly: Castle of Good Hope Victoria & Alfred Waterfront – we went on a cruise from there, which was just fabulous! Today we celebrated Chinese New Year in China Town, Johannesburg. What an incredible experience! The dragon dances were excellent, and the lions were delightful. But the highlight was the incredible fireworks display!

Elephants are such amazing creatures! I realised again just how true that is when we recently visited the Elephant Sanctuary at Hartbeespoort Dam, South Africa. It was an amazing experience to feed them, walk with them, and even ride on the elephants!
