What is the first thing that you do when something really awesome happens to you? Something like maybe meeting the love of your life. Or getting that dream job. I am sure that posting about it on social media will be high your list of things to do.<\/p>\n
Believers have so much to tell the world. How amazing is it to have a personal relationship with the Almighty God that maintains all of the universe! How amazing is it that there is Someone that cared enough about us to sacrifice His only Son for us, so that we can have that relationship!<\/p>\n
\n1 Peter 2:9-10 (WEBBE): 9<\/sup>But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God\u2019s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 10<\/sup>In the past, you were not a people, but now are God\u2019s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nPsalm 30:11-12 (WEBBE): 11<\/sup>You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness, 12<\/sup>to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
So why is it that believers are far too often really quiet instead? Because of fear of what the world will think and do.<\/p>\n
\nMatthew 10:26-28 (WEBBE): 26<\/sup>Therefore don\u2019t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known. 27<\/sup>What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops. 28<\/sup>Don\u2019t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.<\/font>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
